As some of you may know, a sizeable portion of the eastern US got shafted by mother nature in the form of a huge thunder/wind storm. The mods of this blog are two of the several million people without electricity since yesterday evening. I’m writing this post from my phone to let you know that there will probably be no updates for the next few days, as the estimated time for our area to regain power is Thursday or later. 

And for those of you in our situation who may be reading this from your phones / laptops, please be conscious of your health until the electricity comes back. It’s hot. Like really hot. Stay hydrated, try and keep cool without air conditioning and be cautious while traveling. If your town looks anything like mine there’s debris all over the roads and no traffic lights.
