Sorry for the lack of updates lately - we’ve been busy, but we just queued a few stories so we should be back over the next couple of days. There’s just one thing we’ve noticed in the submissions, so we figured we’d make a public post on it.

We consider “hambeast” to be a slur. Although some people use it to refer to someone who simply has bad hygiene, it is almost always used to refer to someone who is overweight. Being overweight does not qualify someone as a weeaboo. This blog is for posting uncomfortable experiences with rude, aggressive, invasive or otherwise “weird” strangers - that is, weeaboos. Someone’s weight should only be described in your submission if it is absolutely necessary for the sake of storytelling (ex. that story about the guy who broke his leg after being tackled by a very heavy girl).

If your submission includes the word “hambeast”, we’ll probably just edit it out, but please be careful about it to save us the trouble.
